Message for World Peace

"I believe that to meet the challenge of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for his or her own self, family or nation, but for the benefit of all mankind. Universal responsibility is the real key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace, the equitable use of natural resources, and through concern for future generations, the proper care of the environment."

An excerpt from HH the Dalai Lama's speech "The Global Community".

I really like your blog. Particularly interesting what you write about the zapatistas, I didn't know about that. When I was in Chiapas last year there was no talk about any increased activity of the army and paramilitaries, it must have started recently. They really need our support (the zapatistas, not the militaries!), because they are doing a lot of good and important things. They are also a very important symbol for all indigenous people, in Mexico and elsewhere.

The quote from the Dalai Lama is also great, he is a man with a lot of wisdom...

Hello!

Thanks for your comment. The blog is still a young project, but hopefully it can contribute in sharing ideas and raising some necessary questions... Therefore comments and inputs are always very welcome!!

As for your comment about the Zapatistas, I add something on its own comments site!

All the best,
